The European Nature Trust - Our Mission

Our Mission

Our mission is to focus on the protection of deeply threatened areas of European wilderness; to protect the species living within these areas and conduct habitat restoration where significant environmental degradation has already occurred.

We achieve this mission in the following ways:

• Funding the initial development of conservation and awareness raising projects
• Working with charities, philanthropists and scientific organizations to further progress each project over the long-term
• Developing an innovative range of approaches to conservation including: generating new sources of funding, devising creative forms of communication in social media, film and literature, developing new techniques for ecosystem services delivery and aiming to strengthen the genetic base for endangered species

In this way, we aim to make a difference over the long-term, to collaborate and inspire others to work alongside us and through this collaboration have a greater positive impact on conservation.
