It is a true privilege for The European Nature Trust to work alongside such committed organisations, charities, NGOs and individuals as we tackle the enormous challenges in trying to protect our very threatened planet.

Alarmingly, less than 3% of global giving is environmental and wildlife related; for many philanthropists and companies the focus has been on other areas such as humanitarian causes or the arts. Change is afoot, however. With the threat of global warming and ever-increasing commercial exploitation of the world and its resources, people are now beginning to understand the huge detrimental impact we humans have on the natural world.

Luckily, we work amongst great partners on many fronts who are making huge conservation commitments. We are very grateful to them all.
