In Europe, TENT focuses on raising awareness and developing policy to ensure the protection of some of the last great wild areas such as the Carpathians.

Where widespread degradation has already occurred, in areas such as the Scottish Highlands, TENT will channel its efforts and resources towards adoption of innovative and scientifically developed restoration policies so that selected regions may support healthy, intact ecosystems once more.
