European Bison released safely at Alladale!
Joep van de Vlasakker of Flaxfield Nature Consultancy delivers 3 European Bison cows to Alladale Wilderness Reserve after long journey from Belgium.
The cows were unloaded in excellent condition and were very calm on release. Joep was accompanied by Etienne Brunelle, the manager of the Han-Sur-Lesse wildlife park who kindly donated the animals to the TENT sponsored project, the animals demonstrated no symptoms of stress, emphasising that they were expertly handled throughout the challenging export from Belgium.
